No, you don't need a referral. You can contact us directly to see if our services are suitable to meet your child's needs.

Some funding options, like Medicare plans, may require a referral from your GP.

No.  Our services are all provided from our clinic, based at Southlands Shopping Centre, Mawson.

If you require home or school based services for your child, we recommend you look at the ACT Private Speech Pathologist list to find a service that can visit these locations.

Yes. We offer telehealth for many types of therapy. It can be a great option when attending in person isn't always possible. Contact us to discuss the suitability of telehealth in your specific situation.

A Principal Speech Pathologist is a highly experienced speech pathologist who has worked in our areas of practice for many years. They have completed a variety of extra training beyond what is needed to become a speech pathologist and have advanced skills in helping children with more complex communication needs.

Every speech pathologist in our team is fully qualified, carefully selected and supported through ongoing training and supervision. Whether your child is seeing a Speech Pathologist or Principal Speech Pathologist, they are in safe, capable hands.

Our speech pathologists are closely mentored by senior team members and follow the same evidence-based approaches. Many families see fantastic progress with any member of our team, and we'll always work with you to match your child with the speech pathologist best suited to meet their needs.

We charge 100% of the appointment fee for all no shows and cancellations within 48 hours, where appointment are not rescheduled.

A discount will be offered when cancellation fees are paid at the time of cancellation and for third-party NDIS participants.

Costs & Funding

Our fees vary depending on whether it is your initial or a subsequent visit with us, the length of your appointment and the speech pathologist you see. Our prices are outlined in the Fees & Funding section of our website.

Yes, if your child is self-managed or plan managed (by a 3rd party plan manager), you can use your funding with us.  Please be aware that our fees are higher than the NDIS Price Cap.

The NDIS price guide for speech pathology services has remained the same since July 2019, yet the cost of providing our services has risen significantly.

Our fees reflect the true cost of delivering high-quality, personalised care and allow us to pay our business expenses, attract and retain experienced speech pathologists and ensure every child gets the focused, consistent support they deserve.

Principal Speech Pathologists bring a wealth of experience, additional knowledge and advanced clinical skills to each session. Because of their expertise, they may be able to identify issues more quickly, fine-tune goals and adjust therapy more precisely.

Yes, we accept Medicare referrals under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Your GP can tell you if your child is eligible.

Many private health funds provide rebates for speech pathology. Please check with your provider about your specific level of cover.
